Uncommon Combo Kitchen Towel Collection
I call this towel the Aqua Thin Stripe towel. Only one available. This set was a bit more time consuming than a lot of my designs, but it was fun to watch the pattern emerge as I wove. I used purple, periwinkle, lime and forest green along with a very light off-white for the warp of this collection. Then I wove each towel slightly different than the rest. So while they all have the same colors, they are each a little different. There is only one of each design, and only 5 left from the collection of 14. All the towels I make are 100% cotton. As with all of my woven goods, they are made to be used. The more you use and wash and dry these towels, the more soft and absorbent they become. They are durable enough for you to enjoy for many years, and will look great hanging in your kitchen or even as hand towels in your powder room (a pair makes a very nice gift, too). I do all my own weaving, finishing and designing, and enjoy every step. I made 8 towels in this batch. The ends of each towel have a double folded hem for durability. They have been wet finished (machine washed & dried, and ironed to set the fibers). Each one is approximately 16 x 26 inches in size. Tricolor Chevron Stripe Kitchen Towels
A little more subdued in color than most of my towels, but just as absorbent and durable. Made with alternating stripes of orange, olive green and light blue 100% cotton. Diamond Pattern Purple Hand Towels
Here are a few towels I made for the powder room. Handwovens don't have to stay in the kitchen! These are a very soft cotton, a bit thinner than twill, but still nice and absorbent (which will increase the more they are used!). They are woven in two shades of purple and white. There is a very subdued single band of thicker white stitches on these towels. All the towels I make are 100% cotton. As with all of my woven goods, they are made to be used.
